This obviously violates the constitution of our country, but more than that is an attack on the church in South Africa with potentially devastating consequences for the country. This blatant evil must be stopped. God be with us.

The state has no business regulating religion - this is a hallmark of almost all oppressive regimes that exist or have ever existed.
Yes - a minority of religious leaders are despicable evil individuals that exploit their congregations. But obstructing the constitutional freedoms of religion and association as a means of addressing this problem is to negate the huge good that religious organisations bring to society - arguably far more good than any government, past and present, has achieved. Even the apartheid government did not contemplate such draconian interference in the freedom of religion.
No, there are more than enough existing laws to deal with crimes committed by individuals in the name of religion. Financial offences, tax offences, sexual offences, extortion, etc. -- we have laws for them all, regardless of whether they are committed by religious leaders or not. Prosecute the criminals - it's that simple! There is no need to regulate religion.

There is no necessity for government to intervene in the biblical running of the church. How can politicians run the church management and administration. Things of the spirit and politics are not the same at all.
If the are church leaders who are NOT doing justice to the communities let the law deals with rather than generalizing or use blankets treatment.

My belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, His crucifixion and resurrection, COMPELS ME to bring His Truth to ALL MANKIND. Nothing will stop me in this work of spreading His Gracious Love. As Jesus Himself stated, as recorded in Luke 19:38-40, when the Pharisees (the religious leaders, or in our case the CRL Rights Commission) told Jesus to silence His followers for proclaiming Him the King of Glory, Jesus said, "I tell you that IF THESE SHOULD KEEP SILENT, EVEN THE STONES WOULD IMMEDIATELY CRY OUT". Jesus, our Creator God, will always have a witness.
In as far as the Truth goes, in John 14:6, Jesus states that "I Am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus invites ALL MANKIND to repent of their wrongdoing, to turn about and follow Him.As a result, we may be ostracised, BUT WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED.
Secondly, The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Act 108 of 1996 (as Amended), GUARANTEES EVERY PERSON:
– Freedom of CONSCIENCE, RELIGION, THOUGHT, BELIEF and OPINION (Section 15)
– Freedom of ASSOCIATION (Section 18)
– Freedom of RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES TO GOVERN THEMSELVES (Section 31)
My further concerns are that;
The CRL Rights Commission is attempting a form of SOCIAL ENGINEERING (similar to BBBEE and it’s associated legislation, regulation and schedules). Faith is a divine calling. It is not a commercial enterprise, and MAY THEREFORE NOT BE LICENSED OR REGULATED BY THE STATE. As per the Constitution, THE STATE HAS NO SAY CONCERNING THE VALIDITY OF RELIGIOUS BELIEF.
As such, the CRL Rights Commission has NO CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY/JURISDICTION to regulate religious doctrine, ordination, worship or religious associations.
Any form of State regulation is AN EXISTENTIAL, SOCIAL ENGINEERING THREAT to any meaningful right to religious freedom, including the rights of religious communities.
Our religious leaders MUST NOT BECOME SUBJECT STATE TO CONTROL.
South Africa’s diverse religious communities already support volunt

Every individual, institution, organization, business etc. already are governed by the Constitution to prevent criminality. Why single out churches and religious organizations if not to gain another handle to manipulate the them for questionable motives? You cannot vet, license or enforce religion. People will always believe what they are convinced about and will always find ways to reinforce that belief. However you can prevent criminal activities via application of law.

We are so staunch on religion that we can kill for it. We will not allow people with no religion to tell us what we must do.
